Well, my name is Ian Sparks and I'm 18 years old, and I live in the small town of Hampstead, Maryland . I go to Carroll Christian High School in Westminster, M.D. The reason for this website is to show the deep respect I have for soldiers and veterans, those who served and those who are serving. My grandfather fought in the British army in World War 2, and was in the Royal Artillery. He was captured along with 1,800 of his men when Singapore fell to the Japenese. In 1945, 7 men out of 1,800 walked out of those prisons alive. My grandfather was one of them. Hearing this story i realised that the sacrifices being made are more than anyone thinks. That is the reason i hope people enjoy the photos and pictures on this website. Thanks
